The National Beta Club is an organization dedicated to recognizing and fostering high standards of academic achievement and character in students.
Purpose and Goals
The National Beta Club provides a positive environment for your child to grow through the following pillars:
- Academic Achievement: Recognizing high standards of scholarship.
- Character & Social Responsibility: Promoting ethical behavior and civic-mindedness.
- Service Involvement: Encouraging active participation in both school and community service.
- Leadership: Fostering essential leadership skills for the future.
- Interpersonal Skills: Providing settings for students to develop healthy relationship skills.
Service Projects
Students gain hands-on leadership experience by participating in various service initiatives. Some examples of our past projects include:
- Sending Christmas cards to military members serving overseas.
- Organizing food and toy drives for local cats and dogs.
- Creating encouragement signs to support peers during testing week.
- Reading to younger students.
- Assisting with Veterans Day events.
Membership Requirements
Induction into the Rincon Elementary Beta Club takes place each fall. Selection is limited to 5th grade students based on the following criteria:
- Academic Grades
- School Attendance
- Teacher Recommendations
- Student Behavior
